LAFC So Cal is thrilled to launch the club’s 3rd Annual Sweepstakes Fundraiser. This will support the club’s field improvement projects and can help your team raise funds for your respective team accounts. We hope to build on the success of our past campaigns which awarded a grand prize trip to Europe as well as $15,000 in other prizes!

 

Timeline:

                  •               October 10th to October 25th: Prize Donation Period

                  •               October 30th*: Ticket Sales Begin

                  •               December 1st: Ticket Sales End

                  •               December 6th: Winners Announced

Prize Donations:

We encourage all members of our LAFC So Cal community to contribute prizes to support the sweepstakes.  Your donated prizes are critical to the success of the sweepstakes. Having a number of quality and appealing prizes will help us sell more tickets and increase the financial resources available to the club to enhance the fields and support our teams.  

 

Depending on the cash value of the donation, families will get recognition of their donation with (1) Acknowledgment letter of your charitable contribution, (2) Credit towards unfulfilled club hours.

Donation Guidelines:

Items must have a cash value of $250 or more. Examples of prizes: timeshare use, electronics, sports & entertainment tickets, gift cards etc.

 

Please note that while we are grateful for your generosity, there are certain items we are unable to accept for our Sweepstakes, including: used Items (unless they are signed memorabilia, etc.), service discount coupons (e.g., $200 off landscaping)

 

Ticket Sales:

Tickets will be $20 each.

 

All families will soon receive an email from Eventgroove to activate their accounts. This email will be sent to the address used during club registration, and each individual's account will be linked to their respective team.

 

Team Goal:

The minimum expectation is for each team to sell at least 100 tickets. Once a team reaches this threshold, the team will receive 50% of the total funds raised by the team. For example, if a team sells 150 tickets at $20/each, they will receive $1500, or half of the $3000 raised.  This calculation excludes any sold tickets that are applied to fulfill club hours (see below). Team funds raised in the Sweepstakes must be utilized for team-related activities or products. 

 

Club Hours:

Ticket sales will apply first to an individual family's club volunteer hours if any remain unfulfilled. The club will provide 1 hour of credit for every 3 tickets sold.
